“The best part about a CSA is sorting through the box thinking, ‘what is THAT?!’ and then researching relentlessly.”
What is CSA? CSA stands for community-supported agriculture. It originated from farmers in need of financial support for their spring harvest, and a community of individuals pledging that support in return for farm produce. Now, CSA boxes have become more popular for their ‘no hassle’ way of shopping local and supporting the surrounding farmers. A customer subscribes, and they are sent weekly boxes packed full of seasonal, local, farm fresh produce. We call our CSA box the Subscription box!
How does it work? We have two sizes of Subscription boxes, small and large. Small is a great fit for 1 veggie lover, or 2 casual veggie eaters. The large box is a great fit for 2-3 veggie eating lovers, or 4 casual veggie eaters. Our Subscription boxes are split into three seasons, Spring, Summer and Fall. When you sign up, you are signing up for one season, and each season lasts in between 12-15 weeks. For example, our Spring Subscription box will run from March 14-June 15, so you will receive 14 delicious Loco boxes! The large box is stuffed with $60 worth of veg, and the small is $35, although prices are reflected in subscription mode (14 week grand sum, 4 payment plans, or week by week, you choose which works best for you)! All you have to do is create your subscription account, then sit back, relax, and eagerly await your first Loco Fields box!
